I love the x-men franchise, besides of course x-3 and wolverine (we don’t talk about them… they are not really movies anyway, their more mistakes then anything else.) But what i’m taking away from this is that there soon will be another film with Michael Fassbender in some lycra (hopefully Banshee won’t be in it. he was so annoying) Either way I love the x-men for their thinly veiled illusion to queer identities and gender construction in general. In fact I would love to talk to Kate Bornstein some day all about gender, performance and camp alter-egos.
The “X-Men: First Class” sequel won’t bow until July 2014, but speculating about it is bound to be easier now that producer Bryan Singer has shared the flick’s title with fans.
The James McAvoy- and Michael Fassbender-starrer will be called “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” The title comes from the ‘80s comic of the same name and is set in a dystopian future (which should be familiar to “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Mystique in the franchise.)
